Elizabeth Jane Hurley is an English actress and model who was renowned as the friend of Hugh Grant in the 1990s. Hurley has been a part of Grant and was at the time in at the center of attention worldwide due to the success at the box office from Four Weddings and a Funeral in Los Angeles. Her dress by Versace had a plunging neckline and the gold safety pins. Hurley has had a successful career, but her relationship to Estee Lauder cosmetics is the most notable. Hurley was first offered a modeling contract with the company in the year she turned 29. The company has utilized Hurley as a model for their products particularly for perfumes such as Sensuous Intuitions and Pleasures. Her most famous film work was as Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers' hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley is now a model and the designer of the eponymous beachwear brand. I Kissed a Girl was a more bold ode to sexism that was that was accompanied by a slashing electro-pop style. The track sparked debate, and some critics accused it of encouraging homosexual relationships, and some claiming that the sexually explicit scenario depicted was designed to cater to men's fantasies. However, the mix of titillation and polished melodicism made I Kissed a Girl become an instant hit in multiple countries powering the sales of her album One of the Boys (2008). Hot N Cold is a very popular track that is a second. Perry also wrote a lot of the lyrics for the album.
